GOSIA: Hey there, JORDAN SUCKLEY! What have you been up to lately?

JORDAN: Finishing lots of new music, including: Greg Downey, Vivid Intent (Jordan Suckley Acid Remix); a collaboration with Eddie Bitar coming out on my new label Damaged in February 2014; and working on loads of new tracks for my set at ASOT next year!

GOSIA: Describe your musical style in 3 words.

JORDAN: Techy, uplifting and insulting.

GOSIA: Outside of trance, what other genres of music are you into?

JORDAN: I like listening to techno.

GOSIA: You played Toronto last month [at the Annex Wreckroom with BT and Alex M.O.R.P.H]. How was that?

JORDAN: It was insane! I always like to play new places and see what music works there. It’s been one of my favorite gigs in Canada so far!

GOSIA: What was your sense of the music scene in Toronto?

JORDAN: Well, I was only there for the one night — but from what I saw, they were very passionate about trance music, and loved a mixture of uplifting and tech trance!

GOSIA: Can you tell us a little bit about Damaged — how you started it, and the meaning behind the name?

JORDAN: It’s my new brand/record label and radio show starting in February! I basically just wanted to have my own brand. I was trying to come up with a name for ages, but then one day Damaged just came in to my head and it stuck! The first release on the label is my collaboration with Eddie Bitar, followed by some other bits from myself and also a Darkboy release!

GOSIA: What would you say are your top three tracks at the moment?

JORDAN: (1) Liquid Soul- Nirvana (Activa Remix); (2) Aly & Fila ft Susana- Without You (Original Mix); (3) Greg Downey- Vivid Intent (Jordan Suckley Acid Remix)

GOSIA: What have been the pros and cons of social media in terms of its effect social on you as an artist?

JORDAN: Pro: It has helped my music reach out to far more people than before! Con: It can sometimes be time consuming keeping everything up to date all of the time.

GOSIA: Any collaborations or project in the works you can tell us about?

JORDAN: A new collaboration with Simon Patterson lined up for next year. Also collaborations with Eddie Bitar, Maarten de Jong, Indecent Noise. And I have worked on something with Paul van Dyk for his Politics Of Dancing 3 compilation which will be out next year!

GOSIA: Where do you see yourself in five years?

JORDAN: Hopefully doing exactly what I am doing now — but on a bigger scale!
